Robert W. Pearson Jr., 94, of Chesterton, Indiana, passed away Thursday, Dec. 15, 2022, in his home with his family by his side.
Private family services will be conducted with a Catholic mass at Queen of All Saints Church. Burial will take place in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, Indiana, is handling the arrangements.
Bob was born June 9, 1928, in Otis, Indiana, to the late Robert W. and Esther (Stevens) Pearson Sr. On Jan. 15, 1955, he married Joan Lucille Magon, who preceded him on Aug. 14, 2019.
Surviving are his son, Scott (Susan) Pearson of Chesterton, Indiana; daughter, Sherri (Stephen Schuster) Pearson of Scottsdale, Arizona; daughter-in-law, Chrissy (Andrew) Ennis of Michigan City, Indiana; eight grandchildren, Zachary Pearson, Holly Finner, Mitchell Pearson, Kayla Pearson, Evan Pearson, Kelsey Pearson, Grant Pearson and Noah Hankins; and six great-grandchildren, Molly Pearson, Oakley Pearson, Avery Pearson, Grayson Hoffman, Kinsley Willoughby and Nora Finner.
He was preceded in death by his son, Barry James Pearson; great-grandchild, Lucy Pearson; two brothers, Roger Pearson and Donald Pearson; and two sisters, Blanche Vitale and Roberta Cheslock.
Robert was an accountant and the retired owner and developer, along with his wife, of Beechwood Mobile Home Park. Bob loved being around family and joking around with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren every chance he could.
He and his wife, Joan, enjoyed traveling in their RV to visit friends and family in warmer climates in the winter months.
Bob was an avid Sudoku player and enjoyed following the stock market and watching NFL football and baseball.

I remember all the good times at the mobile home park. The times my father (Paul Noveroske Sr) did block jobs for Mr Pearson. Many good memories with Mr and Mrs Pearson, Scotty, Sherri and Barry. Rest in peace.

Dear Ones, It is with great sadness as I write this message of condolence remembering the great funtimes we had camping and sharing time with Bob & Joanie in our younger fun years ! I will forever hold his memory in my heart All my sympathy to his wonderful family !
