Lansing - Tony passed away May 9, 2021. He was born on November 8, 1960 in Quezon City, Philippines to Antonio Jose Pido, Sr. and Maria Theresa Gradoville.
Predeceased by his grandparents, Lady Louisa Pido and Captain Pablo Pido; father, Sir Knight Antonio Pido, Sr., PhD.; sister, Tersita Louisa Pido; brothers, Pablo and Joseph Pido. Tony is survived by his mother, Tess Pido; children, Jamie Pido, Antonio Pido III, Joseph Pido, Isaiah Pido, Jacob Pido, and Gabriel Pido; brothers, J.J. Pido and Denis Pido; and 11 grandchildren.
Tony loved cooking, attending rock concerts and watching football. He was a good, kind, thoughtful and funny person with a dry sense of humor just like his dad. As Louisa would say, "you are like your father."
Tony enjoyed laughing with his grandchildren. His proudest moments were the first times he laid eyes on each and everyone of his 11 grandchildren. Tony celebrated 31 years of sobriety.
Tony was proud to have completed his degree in businesss and culinary arts.
Tony completed a course in human relations and development and received an apprenticeship and training from the US Department of Labor Bureau. He was a professional cook under the sponsorship of Capital Professional Chef's Association in Lansing.
Tony hopes others learned from his cooking skills, work ethics, devotion to family and how his sobriety has helped him to be there for countless others who are tying to turn their life around.
Visitation at Gorsline Runciman Lansing Chapel, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Friday, May 14 from 1-3 p.m. Funeral Mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 3815 S. Cedar, Lansing, Friday, May 14 at 4 p.m.
