Jane Lynn Hull, 71, of Delta Mills and Grand Ledge, MI, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017 surrounded by loved ones. Born Jane Lynn Berghuis September 19, 1945 to Melvin Earl and Barbara Jane Berghuis in Grand Rapids, MI. Jane attended Sylvan Christian School, Grand Rapids Christian High School and Calvin College, graduated in 1967 with a Bachelor of Science in Letters and Medical Technology. In 1977 she moved to a farm with her husband, William in Delta Mills, where she became a very active member of the Delta Mills United Methodist Church. In addition to working part and full-time as a laboratory technician at E.W. Sparrow Hospital for 40 years, Jane loved caring for numerous animals and tended a large house full of egg-laying hens. She was known as the "Egg Lady" and continued to sell the large, brown eggs for $1 a dozen for years. She was a volunteer for the Delta Charter Township branch library; enjoyed gardening, canning, auctions, antiquing, and most of all spending time with family.

Jane is preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert Earl Berghuis, and niece Lindsay. She is survived by husband of 48 years, Bill, sons William"B.J." (Teri) of Lansing, MI, and James "Jim" (Caitlin) Hull, grandson Vance William and granddaughter Eleanor Jane, all of Irvine, CA; Brother David Melvin (Judy) Berghuis and their daughter Stephanie, husband Josh, and great nephew Jackson Thomas, all of Yarmouth Maine; Sister-in-Law Nancy (Mel) Downs of Lakeside, MI; Sister-in-law Pamela Behnke of Roscommon, MI, Niece Kym (Bill) Herod of Lakeside, MI, Nephew Richard Anton (Julie Monaghan) Novacek III, and great niece Molly Grace, of New Buffalo, MI; Mother-in-law Helen Ruiter, of Arizona; 21 cousins, including Kathy Prins, Nancy Bush, and Julie Johnson. A funeral service will be held Monday, May 22, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Delta Mills United Methodist Church, 6809 Delta River Drive, Lansing, MI 48906. The family will welcome visitors prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and a luncheon will immediately follow. I knew Bill and Jane very well. I was at their wedding, camping trips, antiquing trips; and they were at my parent's 50th anniversary. We move around and lose track of each other. Loved them both and still love Bill. I will keep looking.

Bill and family. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I had not even heard she was ill. I think of you all every time I am on the highway passing your place and remember good times,especially of B.J. and Roger playing together, your gardening,antiques and the deer in the year. My prayers and thoughts are with you all. So sorry I am unable to make the service but will be thinking of you.

I am so sorry for the loss of my good Friend Jane. I sure will miss her, She was always so full of life and just so friendly all the time. We shared many fun days together that I will not forget and will always remember her with a smile on her face. Jane is in a better place now and we will never know when we will be with her again. Prayers for her family.

I am the aunt of bj's wife , Teri Lynn. While i did not know Jane , I DO know the gift of her soul and her beauty through her son, BJ.
The values which she and her husband have embued in their son demonstrate Jane's faith, goodness, generosity of heart and commitment to family.
Now, She can love them, her husband Bill, and all the Hull family from a place of transcendence, beauty, and joy that we can only begin to measure by the depth of sorrow and loving tenderness felt for her loss to a better place.
With prayers of solace for all the Hull family... "may eternal rest grant unto her oh Lord" and may she know the grace and peace of life everlasting...
