Joyce Rohrer Obituary
Lansing - Joyce Ann Rohrer, 82, passed away August 21, 2019 at her residence. She was born September 28, 1936 to Carl and Rebecca Taylor in Dresden, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Douglas; grandson, Eric Harvin, Jr.; and daughter-in-law, Sue Simpson. She is survived by 3 sons, Ron Simpson, Doug (Carol Ann) Rohrer, and Randy N. Rohrer; step-son, Eric (Renee) Harvin; daughter, Connie J. Rohrer; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and sister, Royce (Don) Warren. She was a member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church and a Teacher's Aide at Beekman Center in Lansing. Memorial Service is 11:00 AM Monday, August 26, 2019 at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, 2900 N. Waverly Rd., Lansing with Pastor Erick Johnson officiating.

I so surprised to hear about Joyce. My mom (Mary Lou Ryder) and I worked with her at Beekman. We had lot of laughs together. Always fun when Joyce was with a crowd. She will be missed.

I am grateful that I got to see/hug/talk to this sweet saint a few weeks ago. She was always such an encourager; I always sought her out for a smile. She had sass and smiles and happiness rolled into one! She will be dearly missed.

So sad to hear of Joyce's passing. She was one of the sweetest, kindest, sincere, genuine and thoughtful lady's I have ever known!! Thank you for all the love and kindness you showed to our lady's at Gardner's over the years. "Bingo" will not be the same without you here. RIP Joyce.. You will surely be missed by all ❤
