Luis Lino Obituary
Lansing, Michigan
Luis, age 55, formerly of DeWitt, passed away July 8, 2015. He was born May 18, 1960, son of the late Manuel A. Lino Jr. and Elida Martinez Lino.
He was preceded in death by his daughters, Savannah Marie and Zenieda Lee Lino, and brother Rene M. Lino. He is survived by his wife, Cecelia Lino; children, Lydia M. Lino, Ofelia Albarez, Salena (John) Turner, Luis G. Lino, Alcario L. Lino, Marina C. Lino and Corina Gutierrez; siblings, Frances (David) Bermudez, Manuel Lino III, Samuel Lino, Raul (Gloria) Lino, Christy (Mark) Beeman, Dolores (Oscar) Gonzales, Sylvia Lino, Eulalia Lino and Angelita (Pete) Cabrera; and 17 grandchildren.
His whole life, Luis' passion for Tejano music, dancing, boxing and sports followed him wherever he went! He was a true fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Michigan State Spartans. Lucky especially loved being with his family and friends. He will be sorely missed.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, 102 W. Randolph St., Lansing. The Rite of Committal will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Karmanos Cancer Center. Luis -- where to begin you danced your way into the family many years ago. Their has been good times & bad times but all & all we were family no matter what happen. You gave my cousin Alicia 3 beautiful daugthers, they gave you awesome grandkids. I will miss watching you dance at the Dances with my cousins, your wife Cecelia, & who ever else that had the privilege to take a spin with you. I will miss seeing you out & about & you saying "Hey Let-Let where you been at long time no see". Now you are rejoicing & dancing with your loved ones in heaven. You are no longer in pain, man you gave one hell of a fight Louie! You touched many lives your gonna be missed! R.I.P. Luis

There are no words that can express the sadness in my heart for the Lino Family Louis was one hell of a man!! AND THE BEST DANCER HERE IN LANSING AND ANYWHERE HE WENT!!!! Always had a beautiful smile on his family!!! And he is "LUCKY" cause he'll be dancing to the music and voice of the Great Art Lopez.and Joe "Jaws" Herrera!!!! Amen! Luis was a great friend. While we had fun in childhooo, we renewed our friendship while we were working different parts of Target. I couldn't believe he was gone . He truly will be missed.
