She will be remembered for her loving, patient, selfless attitude and will live in on the hearts of all who loved her. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 4, 2013 at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Greater Lansing at 2 p.m., followed by a celebration of her life from 3-8 p.m.. I knew Pat from when she skated with Ladies Silver Blades. She loved skating, but had to give it up when she needed to work. I had run into her a few times since then & always enjoyed catching up. I'll never forget her wearing her fun elf ears at our Halloween Skating parties!

Pat was a classmate of mine in high school. Her beautiful smile and kind heart made an impression on all who knew her. It is not surprising that she used her intelligence and grace to help those less fortunate. She made a difference in the world. What a wonderful legacy.
