Robert M. White

Tavares, FL

Robert M. White, formerly of Essexville, Michigan, died on February 21, 2016, at the Florida Waterman Hospital in Tavares, Florida. He was 80 years old. Bob was born September 9th, 1935, in Bay City, Michigan, to Gerald and Clara White.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marjorie White; brother James (Martha) of Okemos, Michigan; his children Rick (Phyllis Fisher) White of Lansing, Michigan, Donald (Roxanne) White of Astatula, Florida, and Susan (Christopher) Topp of Saginaw, Michigan; along with three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Bob was a journeyman sheet metal worker for several businesses and retired after 25 years with General Motors in Saginaw. He loved to fish and follow the Detroit Tigers on television. Bob was a devoted husband, father and brother who will be dearly missed.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America in Robert's name at http:www.alzfdn.org.

I remember too fondly Rick and I playing music in the basement too loud and waking Mr. White early for work on back shift. May God bless you in this time of sorrow.
