Saul Macias Obituary
East Lansing
Saul Macias passed away on August 21, 2014 after fighting with a long illness. He was born January 27, 1950 in Piedras Negras, Mexico, the son of Juan and Ramona Macias. He was the seventh of fourteen children. A resident of East Lansing, MI. and a 33 year retiree of General Motors. Saul embraced life, his family, and the Detroit Tigers.
Saul's laughter and soul live on in his wife Sue and his two sons Manuel and Elias. He will also live on through his eight remaining brothers, sisters and extended family.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on August 26, 2014 at South Church, 5250 Cornerstone Drive, Lansing, MI. 48917. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Saul to the American Kidney Foundation or the Sarcoidosis Foundation of D.C The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel. My wife and i are saddend to learn that saul passed away.He was a good neighbor,as well as a gentleman.Our hearts go out to you,and may god give you strength during your time of grief.We were your neighbors across the street at 1321 chartwell dual carriage way for several years.
