Edna Smith LOCKNEY - Edna Smith, age 74, of Lockney, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Lockney. Arrangements are under the care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Lockney. Edna was born to Grady and Ozella (Low) Whitaker on Jan. 9, 1941 in Plainview, Texas. She graduated from Plainview High School in 1959. She is preceded in death by her parents; Grady and Ozella Whitaker, a sister and brother in law; Richard and Peggy Wiley, a brother; Harry Whitaker, and a nephew; Bobby Whitaker. She is survived by her son; Tracy and wife Shandra Kidd of Lockney, a daughter; Stacy Brown of Houston, Meme had three grandchildren; Landry and Hannah Kidd of Lockney, Jacob Brown of Houston, three nephews, one niece and several great nephews and nieces.
