Jeanette Case Obituary

Jeanette Barnhill Case AMARILLO-Jeanette Barnhill Case, 86, of Amarillo, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2014. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, in Dreamland Cemetery in Turkey with Dr. Darin Davis officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Jeanette was born Dec. 10, 1927, in Turkey, to J.E. and Sarah Barnhill. She graduated from Turkey High School and attended West Texas State College where she was a member of Gamma Phi Sorority. Jeanette was a member of Church of Christ. She married Jack L. Case on May 11, 1948. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents and five older brothers. Survivors include a daughter, Sally L. Case of Tampa, FL; two sons, Ross Case of Palm Springs, CA, and Harvey Case and wife, Esther of Lubbock; and a granddaughter, Laura Case of Waco. The family suggests memorials be made to Don & Sybil Harrington Cancer Foundation, 1600 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, TX 79106; or to Dreamland Cemetery Association, Box 127, Turkey, TX 79261.
