John G. Neufeld SEMINOLE- Funeral services for John G. Neufeld, 66, of Seminole will be conducted Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the M.S. Doss Chapel with Mr. Harold Mueller officiating. Interment will follow in the Gaines County Cemetery with services under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home. Mr. Neufeld passed away Sunday in Seminole. John was born April 13, 1947 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Peter and Margaret Neufeld. He and Helen were married on Dec. 4, 1966 in Rio Palacio, Chih., Mexico. They lived in Ontario, Canada for many years where John owned and operated a construction business before moving to Seminole in 1989. He established Neufeld Farms and has farmed in Gaines and Andrews Counties for 24 years and was a member of the German Church of God. He was preceded in death by his father and a grandson, Jordan Neufeld. John is survived by his wife, Helen of the home; a son, Tim Neufeld and his wife Judy of Seminole; a daughter, Angela Thiessen and her husband Peter of Frisco; his mother, Margaret Neufeld of Seminole; two brothers, Herman Neufeld and Peter Neufeld; two sisters, Helen Teichroeb and Tina Wiebe all of Seminole; and grandchildren, Rachelle Neufeld, Jon-KenleighThiessen, and Perren-Luc Thiessen. Memorials may be made to the German Church of God Building Fund at P.O. Box 310 Seminole, Texas 79360. Pallbearers will be Randy Neufeld, Rick Neufeld, Mike Teichroeb, Billy Teichroeb, Jimmy Wiebe and Bobby Neufeld. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ratliff Funeral Home.
