Robin Lindsey Obituary

Lubbock- Robin Lindsey passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2017. We will gather for fellowship and remembrance from 6 to 8 p.m. today, August 25, 2017, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life of 56 years on Saturday, August 26, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Lake Ridge Chapel. A tribute of Robin's life may be found at www.memorialdesigners.net, where you may leave memories and expressions of sympathy for his family.

Robin was born on October 5, 1960, at Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas, to Robert and Kathryn Lindsey. He was the oldest of seven children. Robin had five brothers and one sister; Troy, Shawn, Kelly, Shannon, Brandon, and Trina. He graduated from Monterey High School in 1979, and then worked as an automotive mechanic, and also in the home building industry. His hobbies included operating a Ham Radio and knitting for which he won two blue ribbons, including a Best in Show at the 2011 South Plains Fair for his beautiful craftsmanship. He married Kim Duff February 16, 1984. They had two children, R.J. and Sarah. He is preceded in death by his mother Kathryn Lindsey.

He is survived by his wife, Kim; sons, Jesse, R.J and wife, Lindsey; daughter, Sarah and husband, Aaron; father, Robert; brothers, Troy, Shawn, Kelly, Shannon and Brandon; and sister, Trina; one grandson, Jude Clark; many nieces and nephews; four grand-dogs; and his faithful companion, Wyatt.
