There are no words deep enough to express my sadness for your family on the passing of such a precious son. May God be with you in your time of sorrow and may you find peace with Him.

Adam was a great competitor and an even nicer kid. I was very upset to read about his passing. He deserved a long healthy life. Adam pitched against us with his Clayton high school team and we had tremendous respect for him. He stood out from that team as a leader and showed respect to our club after he got the best of us. When shaking hands after the game, Adam said to me, that was a hell of a game coach. I don't remember a lot of things but that stuck with me from an opposing player that was gracious in victory. God Bless u Adam.

Hello my name is Rick, and I was so saddened to hear of Adams passing yesterday. I was about to send him some video of me hitting/pitching... when I tried to google his name for a Facebook page, only to find the terrible news.
We met back in the end of May this hear when he was called out to fix my garage door in Roseville, CA.
Being a 45 year old sports freak, we hit it off right away. I asked about the sleeve on his arm and there opened the door. He told me about his short lived MLB career and his Softball life. Adam was a real genuine dude, very nice, and engaging. We were hoping to hook up and throw the ball, when his schedule permitted. What a tragedy! My prayers and condolences go out to all his Family, Friends, Team Mates, his Fiancée, and all the fortunate athletes that were blessed to cross his path. I only knew him for a short while, yet he made strong enough impression on this 45 year old (MLB wannabeen). I am hoping to contact his Softball Team to see if they can make some Adam Elliot Jersey's. I want one! I know this much, The Angels Above are Smiling!

Chris and I never met Adam but knew him through his Fathers eyes..telling us of his baseball accomplishments and the pride we could hear in Davids voice. God bless you all and we pray God comforts you in this time of loss. Adam will be always with you in your hearts.

My thoughts are with the family. Adam was a great guy, and a ton of fun to play ball with. He will be missed by so many...

I just cannot believe it...gone too soon. I am one of Adam's "adopted mamas". Mary Lou-thank you for giving us the gift known as Adam. He was a true shining light. You could always count on Adam to light up the room the moment he arrived. He was always there to lend a hand. I'll never forget when I made him autograph a baseball for me. I told him he'd better never forget me as, when he made it to the Big Leagues, I was coming after him to autograph another ball (he said I could then sell it on EBay and get lots of money!!) He was thunder-struck that anyone would want his autograph. So very humble. I sit here, holding this precious memento as tears are falling. I always felt an overwhelming sense of pride when I talked with Adam and always thought, "What a GREAT kid"-how blessed am I to know him....Please know that he is sitting at the right hand of God, calling balls and strikes for the Angels. Our loss is truly Heaven's gain. My heart is broken. Godspeed, son.

I'm so very sorry for your loss, David. My thoughts go out to you all. He was so excited when his grandpa Phil was able to watch him pitch for the Cyclones - I will always remember that day! RIP Adam....
