CAROLE ANDREWS Obituary

CAROLE ANDREWS Carole Ann Andrews, 66, retired from Furniture Direct, of Las Vegas, passed away April 16, 2012. Born Aug. 8, 1945, in Los Angeles, Carole was a nine-year resident of Nevada. Carole grew up in Hawthorne, Calif., an only child. She had beautiful red hair and always had a smile. She was a friend and a sister by choice. She had pancreatic cancer. Her dear friends, Gretchen and Gail, along with Nathan Adelson Hospice, took care of her. She was preceded in death by Randel and Jean Willey. Donations may be made to Nathan Adelson Hospice of Las Vegas in her name. As per her wishes, Gretchen and Yvonne will put her ashes out to sea in San Diego, so when you see beautiful sunsets close your eyes and think of Carole, her red hair, her smile, and her giving heart. May her smile light up Heaven, as it did ours.

I was a client of Caroles. I was going to try to get a hold of her again, and was saddened by this news. She was a wonderful person to work with and helped us out a lot! She will be missed. Funny how a person from many years back that you never knew, you never forgot. I'll never forget her, even though I never met her. So sorry for her family's loss. :( I was planning on buying more furniture with her. Sorry I'm 10 years late.

Throughout the nearly 50 years Carole and I knew each other, and though that time included great closeness as well as separation, Carole's beautiful, genuine smile and feminine grace have always been there. She left us way too early but we will meet again.
