Lillian Echt Obituary

Lillian Echt, nee Rubenstein, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, 79, of Las Vegas, passed away July 30, 2004. She was born April 8, 1925, in London, England and was a resident of Las Vegas for 13 years. She is survived by her husband, Bernard. They married in London, England, 59 years ago, and she came to the United States as an English war bride in 1946. She is also survived by her son, Wayne (Michele) Echt; daughter, Joan Rose and Renee Echt; granddaughter, Sara Kitnick of Las Vegas; sister, Rena Raffel of Aventura, Fla. and Hetty Soraff of London, England; brother, John (Betty) Rubenstein; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Sarah Rubenstein; brothers, Sam Rubenstein and "Mick" Rubenstein; and sister, Betty Kayser. Service to be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 3, at King David Chapel & Cemetery, 2697 E. Eldorado Lane, Las Vegas. Donations can be made to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4131 Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119, Attn: Foundation Dept., or to the American Cancer Society.
