I was born 4/1934, so close to his birthday and know that the pain of loss may lessen over time but never goes away.

I REMEMBER ABOUT 20 YEARS AGO WHEN I WOULD GO WITH MY DAD RON TEICH SR TO SHELLY'S PAINT STORE AND MY DAD WOULD SELL HIM PAINT. HE WAS SUCH A NICE GUY. I WILL NEVER FORGET HIS PITBULL SAM :) I USED TO LOVE THAT DOG ESPECIALLY SEEING SAM DRINK THE PEPTO BISMOL SHELLY WOULD GIVE HIM WHEN HE HAD AN UPSET STOMACH. SHELLY WAS A GREAT GUY AND WILL BE MISSED! SHELLY'S FAMILY WILL BE IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS.

Dear Barbara, Wendy and Lee: I am so sorry for your loss. When Wendy contacted me, I said a prayer for Uncle Shelly. Then I asked him to say hi to my Dad (Eddie), who I miss so much. I am grateful for a very long conversation I had with Uncle Shelly a couple of years back ... he was very helpful in gathering some Plotkin family history for me. And of course his voice reminded me of my Dad and the other Plotkin boys. Take good care of yourselves. Love, Rhonda

Shelly was 3 months older than I am & I remember him mostly clearly from Roosevelt Jr. High in Milwaukee. Our lives diverged since then so I am very gratified to hear and read what a fine person he was.

My dad, my friend....I will miss you every day. Even on the way to your many doctor appointments we always found a way to have fun. Checking out cars, singing along to the radio. You always left everyone with a smile, you were quite the entertainer. And yes...you were a real mensch! I'll always be your Wendy. I love you Dad.

Shelly was a real "mensch". In spite of all sorts of obstacles, he worked hard, achieved, took care of family and friends and was really kind to all.
I'll miss him, but the many warm memories of him will live on.

I remember Uncle Shelly brought joy and laughter to many people. He was always full of life. I know I did not see him much after the move to Las Vegas, however, I remember visiting Shelly in Las Vegas. We even went to the Paintin Place. I know Dad and Shelly talked often. Dad wished they lived closer so they could have visited more often. In closing, please accept our deepest sympathy and prayers for your loss. I know Uncle Shelly will be missed.
