I came home to Las Vegas the other day after being away since August 29th. I was shocked and saddened to learn of the passing of my friend Shirley and regret that I was not here for her memorial services.
I knew Shirley for nearly 40 years and have many fond memories of our days with the Las Vegas Legal Secretaries Association. I was so proud of her when she went on to serve as Clark County Clerk. She was dedicated, very knowledgeable and a true professional. She also knew how to laugh and have a good time and we did our share of that!
I will miss you my friend.

I knew Shirley for many years while we both worked in the legal profession. She was a terrific lady and absolutely competent in every thing she did, from legal secretary to County Clerk. Thanks for all your help over the many years.

Her absence will be sorely noticed and she be missed by all who have known and admired her. Judge James Bixler and Dani Bixler

I had the pleasure of knowing Shirley for over 26 years. Our work-related duties often called upon each other and she was always helpful. Shirley was a classy lady with style. I wish to extend my heartfelt sympathy to her family.
