TRAVIS MORTENSEN-LOCHNER

TRAVIS MORTENSEN-LOCHNER Travis Bret Mortensen-Lochner returned to be with his Heavenly Father early Monday morning, June 20, 2016. Travis was born Feb. 26, 1994, at 6:41a.m. Travis never met a stranger and he was lifelong friend to anyone who he came into contact with. He was the sweetest boy a mother could ask for. He would make her late to work just to smell the flowers on the porch on the way to the car, every single flower. Travis was loved by so many and leaves behind a village. He was a graduate of Shadow Ridge High School in 2012, where he was active in the ROTC program there. He went on to join the U.S. Air Force. After injuries to his knees, he was medically discharged to return home. He worked for Walmart, Home Depot, two local veterinarians and finding his real love as a car salesman for Centennial Hyundai. The world will be a little dimmer without Travis in it, Heaven just got a lot brighter. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marion and Frances Shoemaker and Rosemary Lochner; and uncle, John Lochner. Travis leaves behind his number one supporters, his parents, Bret J. Mortensen, Debra (nee Shoemaker) and Kenneth Lochner; six siblings, Tasha (Mike) Estes, Nathan (Jessica) Lochner, Tamara (Keith) Sanders, Tara (Kyle) Zangl, Tatum and Tabitha; nieces, Ashle, Abigail, Niko, Isla, Elizabeth and Julia; nephews, Gage, Jayden, Jett and Rafe; aunts and uncles, Christie (Del) Rich, Marty Shoemaker, Leonard (Paula) Shoemaker, Gail (James) Hembree, Ed Shoemaker, Kenneth (Sunni) Shoemaker, Ray (Kathy) Lochner and Deborah (Harry) Eyre; grandparents, Jerry and LaRae Mortensen; and 29 first cousins. Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 25, at the LDS Chapel, 100 W. Hammer Lane, North Las Vegas, NV 89031. He will be laid to rest at 1 p.m. Monday June 27, at the Paragonah Utah Cemetery.
