Fort Valley, Georgia - Adaline Moore, 73, died Monday, June 21, 2021. Services will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021, with family receiving friends from 9:30AM to 10:30AM at Rooks Funeral Home, 213 West Church Street in Fort Valley, GA. Graveside Services will follow at 11:00AM in Oaklawn Cemetery, 720 South Camellia Boulevard in Fort Valley, GA. Rev. Russ Bozeman will officiate.
Born in Annapolis, Maryland, Mrs. Moore was a homemaker. Her children remember her as the kindest person they have ever known. She loved being with her family, her donkeys, and any kind of animal.
Survivors include her children; JC Moore (Amanda), Ray Moore (Cynthia), Dottie Barton (Brent), and John Moore (Erin); grandchildren; Jeffrey, Ashley (Andrew), Krista, Jacob, Nicholas, Mallory, Massey, Andrew, Grace, and Whitney; great-grandchildren; Gwen and Robbie; brother, Billy Swinburn; sister, Sue Sellner; nieces, nephews and other family members; and her beloved dog "Sissy". She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Jim Moore, her mother and step-father, Alfred Ray and Dorothea Elizabeth Vialle Bennett, and her father, William Swinburn.
Rooks Funeral Home in Fort Valley, GA is in charge of arrangements.
