Alfredia Stewart Obituary
Macon, GA- Mrs. Alfredia Armstrong Stewart entered into eternal rest on May 7, 2015. Celebration of her life will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Community Church of God, 5555 Bethesda Avenue, Macon, Georgia. Pastor Jason McClendon, Officiating and Reverend Timothy Fleming, Sr., Eulogist. Entombment services will be held at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Stewart, daughter of the late John Henry and Martha Armstrong, was born in Escambia County, Alabama and lived in Macon, Georgia the majority of her adult life. She attended Tuskegee Institute obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and later obtained a Master's Degree in Education from Georgia College. She was a retired Bibb County Board of Education Master Teacher of thirty-three years.
She is survived by her Sons, Freddie, Jr. (Cheryl) Stewart and Bernard Stewart; a devoted Nephew, Harrison Taylor, III; five Grandchildren; four Great Grandchildren; Aunt, Georgia Mae Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Public viewing will begin Friday morning at 9 AM, and a Visitation Hour and Order of Eastern Star Ceremony will be held Friday evening, 6-7 PM at Jones Brothers Mortuary Chapel, 3035 Millerfield Road, Macon
