I have known and loved Bishop Hicks for over 40 years. As a small child, we lived near the Hicks's residence and after Bishop Winders died, he became my Mothers' pastor and later, our State Prelate. I will always cherish his memory.

I love you Mother Hicks and Family, you will be in my prayers.

My heart goes out to the Hicks family and you are all in our prayers.

Know ye not, that so many of us were baptized in Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in the newness of life.(Romans 6:3&4)

AT HOME WITH GOD

FOR TO ME, TO LIVE IS CHRIST AND TO DIE IS GAIN.

Philippians 1:21 NIV

IN MEMORNY OF BISHOP C. J. HICKS

OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU MOTHER HICKS AND FAMILY;

Just as a parent needs to know that his or her child is safe at school, we long to know that our loved ones are safe in death. We long for the reassurance that the soul goes immediately to be with God. But dare we believe it? Can we believe it? According to the Bible we can. Yes.

Death when it comes, is simply the end of their earthly mission and the beginning of a greater life with Christ.
