Hawkinsville, Georgia - Mrs. Clara Bembry Thomas quietly transitioned from this life on July 3, 2021. She is survived by three children; Alvin Thomas (Barbara), Lisa Thomas, Cheryl Marria (Jerry), one grandson, Casimire Thomas, one great-granddaughter, (Aria). She was a dedicated member of the Lynwood Baptist Church in Hawkinsville, GA for over 80 years. She loved the Lord.
She was a graduate of Hawkinsville High & Industrial School. She was retired. She was a Life Member of St. John Chapter No. 88, Order of the Eastern Star, member of Joshua Court No. 7, Heroines of Jericho and Past State Loyal Lady Ruler of the Georgia State Grand Assembly, Order of the Golden Circle. She focused her attention on raising monies for scholarships for boys and girls, supporting Charitable Organizations (Alzheimer's Association) and other non-profit Charitable Foundations.
Services will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Lynwood Baptist Church, Hawkinsville, GA at 10:00 A.M.
