January 7, 1956 - November 24, 2021
Macon, Georgia - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Darrell Wayne Boone. A Graveside Celebration will be held Friday, December 3, 2021 at 11:00AM at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery located at 3969 Mercer University Drive, Macon, Georgia 31204. Lead Servant Eddie D. Smith Sr., will officiate. Mr. Boone leaves to cherish his memories his children, Tawanna (Keith) Walden, Derrick (Laquardra) Simmons and Myrtice Boone; four treasured grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three brothers; two sisters and a host of other relatives and friends. After honorably serving his country in the US Army, he worked for the City of Macon Public Works Department faithfully for many years. Wayne was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and served on the Usher Board. Public viewing will be held today, Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at the Funeral Home. The family is requesting everyone to please wear a face mask and follow CDC guidelines. Richard R. Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Services has charge of the arrangements.
