~some people come into our lives and quickly go, some stay awhile and leave footprints in our hearts and we are never, ever the same~

They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but an entire lifetime to forget them... a few moments of time spent talking with Karen and it was obvious right away that she was a very special person who can never be replaced nor forgotten. It's easy to underestimate the contribution some people make in your life, especially the quiet and unassuming ones, until they leave and you find yourself faced with a void of emptiness in your heart. I pray that Karen's family and her many friends will find comfort in each other and will, in time, fill the void with memories of her love and laughter. My deepest condolences to her darling baby girls and may they grow in the knowledge that they will now and forever have the most loving of angels looking over them.

YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN KAREN

If tears could build a stairway

and heartaches make a lane,

we'd walk the path to Heaven

and bring you back again.

A heart of gold stopped beating

A shining smile at rest

God broke our hearts to prove

he only takes the best.

Our loving chain is broken again

and nothing seems the same,

But God will call us one by one

and the chain will link again.

Karen, I've known you for about a year and a half. You were my kar bear before anyone else started calling you that. I haven't been able to talk with you alot lately, but when we talked you always made me smile. I came online yesterday and found out you died of a heart attack. I couldn't believe it, thought it was a joke, and still can't come to the fact that never again will I scream kar bear in a chatroom upon your arrival. I never will have the chance to tell you that you always brightened my days, I will never be able to tell you goodbye. I know you won't be able to read this, but I had to say this still. I missed my opportunity to tell you that you were important to me, and can never get it back, but you were, you still are. You are my friend, which meant all the world. I hope that you died without pain, I hope you didn't suffer at all. I hope that wherever you are now, you are happy. You deserve it. You touched everyone you spoke with, reached straight into their hearts. You were a wonderful person and great friend. I will miss you. We all will. Now and forever, you will live on as long as any remain alive that ever knew you, for you will always live in our hearts and memories. You haven't truly died as long as someone remembers you. But as this world is concerned, good-bye for now my kar bear. We all love you.
