Malcolm Brasher Obituary

Malcolm E. Brasher -LIZELLA - Malcolm E. Brasher went to be with his Lord Friday, September 22, 2006. Funeral services will be 3P.M. Sunday, September 24 at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Hamp Watson, Rev. Willie Gordon and Rev. Paul Meadows will officiate. -Mr. Brasher was born in Greenville, Mississippi. He served his country during World War II in the Air Navy. He later became editor of the Tulsa Labor News and was a graduate of the Bowling Green Business University. He retired in 1997 from Ennis Business Forms after thirty years of service and many sales awards. He was a song director of Lawrence Drive Baptist Church, Thomaston Road Baptist Church, Bethel Baptist Church, Church of the Wildwood, and West Macon Baptist Church. He was also an avid tennis player. -He will be missed by his wife of thirty-eight years, Lessie Brasher; sons, Bob Brasher and Marty Moncrief; grandchildren, Jeremy Brasher, Justin Brasher, Clay Moncrief and Cliff Moncrief; great grandchildren, David Goodman and Katie Moncrief. -The family will greet friends Saturday, September 23 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. -In lieu of flowers, the family request donations may be made to Gideon International, Macon Central Camp, P.O.
