Minnie Clark Obituary

Minnie O. Clark -HAWKINSVILLE - Minnie O. Clark, 93, of Hawkinsville, died January 1, 2007 at her residence. Funeral services will be at 11A.M., Wednesday at Double Branch Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. N.B. Goss and Rev. Lee Lafferty officiating. Burial will be in the Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery. -Mrs. Clark was a native of Buena Vista, Georgia and was the oldest member of the Double Branch Freewill Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husbands, J. C. Lawhorn and Christopher Clark and two children, Grace Lawhorn and Amos Lawhorn. -Survivors include two daughters and two sons, Magdalene (late husband Alfred) Spann of Westville, FL, Betty (Lee) Lafferty of Peterstown, WV, James (late wife Doris) Lawhorn of Hawkinsville and David (Hilda) Lawhorn of Fort Valley; twelve grandchildren; two step grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; ten step great-grandchildren; twenty-four great-great-grandchildren; fourteen step great-great-grandchildren. -Pallbearers will be Kurtis Reynolds, Terry Ratliff, Glenn Williams, John Howerton, Larry Bryant and Jerry Dunaway. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Spann, Billy Jones, Tony Howerton, Ralph Williams and Jonathan Lawhorn. -Clark Funeral Home, Hawkinsville, in charge of arrangements.
