Myron Hayes -MACON - Myron A. Hayes, 83, died Thursday at Portsbridge Hospice Facility. Graveside services will be held at 11A.M., Saturday in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Marty Watson and the Rev. Fred McCoy officiating. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Portsbridge Hospice Facility, 115 Arkwright Landing, Macon, GA 31210. Hayes, 111 Bartlett Way, Centerville, GA 31028 or at the residence of Randy Hayes, 133 Linstead Drive, Macon, GA 31216. -Mr. Hayes, son of the late Alvin and Bell Blackwell Hayes, was born in Gainesville and had lived in Macon since 1949. He was a U.S. Army Air Force Veteran serving during World War II and was retired from Robins Air Force Base and Middle Georgia Trucks. He was a member of Avondale Baptist Church where he was a member of Friendship Sunday School Class. -Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Baird Hayes of Macon; his sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas A. and Faye Hayes of Centerville, Michael B. Hayes and Randy and Stephanie Hayes, all of Macon; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; his sister, Eura Mae Gilstrap of Winder; a number of nieces and nephews. - Visit www.mem.com to express tributes. -Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue has charge of arrangements.
