Nannie Ree Vizzini Simpson -BYRON - Nannie Ree Vizzini Simpson, 87, died Friday, July 16, 2004. Services will be 3P.M. Sunday, July 18, 2004 in the chapel of Rooks Funeral Home in Byron, with Rev. Dan Gatlyn officiating. Burial will be private. -Born in Jeff Davis County, Simpson was a retired postmistress in Denton, GA, and a Baptist. -Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Guy and Nell Singleton of Byron; five step-children; numerous grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. -The family will receive friends at 2:00 P.M. Sunday prior to the service at Rooks Funeral Home in Byron. -Rooks Funeral Home in Byron has charge of arrangements.

Words cannot express the love that Miss Nannie Ree shared with all the people she touched during her life. She truly was a special person who had room in her heart for all. Her love of life and her sense of humor made her so much fun to know. She would help anyone anytime, if she could.

She will be missed.

The lord will truly be blessed to have a woman as fine as Nannie in heaven to help see over everything and everyone as she did on this earth, god made no one sweeter then our Nannie she was alway's by your side in your time of need and alway's listened and never judged anyone. May god be with you in your time of need because i had Nannie with me in my time could not had made it without her my heart is broken along with everyone that knows her. My prayers are with you Gail Durden
