I met him in a brief moment at HHC. He was looking for you, Margaret, and we found you were at Navicent in Macon. He had a snack-sized packet of Oreos and insisted I take them. He stumbled on his way out to find you. Don't know why, but seeing his obit hurt my heart deeply. Know that I have said a daily and constant prayer for both of you. Kathy

Robert Richardson was my Uncle Bob. He was such a good man - his mother's son, most assuredly, but he possessed the wonderful down-to-earth New England authenticity that was the hallmark of both of my Richardson grandparents. He managed a nearby Firestone in Rhode Island when I was in school there, and was so very kind to me when ever my car had trouble - I was blessed to have him close by.
What was most remarkable about Uncle Bob and my Aunt Midge to me was how they both faced and shouldered enormous challenges in life with such dignity and grace - a model to anyone who faces life's hardships.
I am honored to have known and been influenced by him. Rest in Peace, Uncle Bob, and my condolences and love to Aunt Midge, Norma, Pat and to his cousins the Burwells, with whom he was very close. God bless.

May the God of all comfort strengthen the family during this time of deep sorrow. Those who pass on, God keeps in his memory because they are precious in his eyes. My sincerest condolences. Psalms 116:15.
