Thomas Dawson Obituary

Thomas Dawson -HAWKINSVILLE - Thomas S. Dawson, 82, of Hawkinsville, GA, died Saturday, October 26, 2002 in a Macon hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11A.M., Monday, October 28, 2002 in the Hawkinsville First Baptist Church with Dr. Don McClung and Rev. Steve McGlamery officiating. Burial will be in the Orange Hill Cemtery. -Mr. Dawson was a native of Pulaski County, a member and Deacon of the Hawkinsville First Baptist Church and a Sunday School Teacher. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was a retired farmer. Mr. Dawson was an Army Veteran of WWII. -Survivors include his wife, Annie D. Dawson of Hawkinsville; daughter: Beth D. Crawford of Cornelia, GA; sons, Tommy Dawson and Danny Dawson, both of Hawkinsville; sisters: Jeanette Bennett and Edith Mashburn, both of Hawkinsville and Mary Kludas of Illinois seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. -The family will receive friends at the Dawson residence. -In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hawkinsville First Baptist Church. -Clark Funeral Home, Hawkinsville, in charge of arrangements.
