Zachary Hudson Obituary
August 11, 1988 - September 20, 2021
Mountain View, California - Zachary passed away unexpectedly at the age of 33 on September 20, 2021. He was living in Mountain View, CA. He was born in Marietta, GA. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Lillian Hudson from Byron, GA and his maternal grandparents, Jake and Betty Gassett from Kathleen, GA. Zachary left behind his loving wife, Lynn Tran Hudson, of 7 years; his mother, Teresa Davis (Kevin) of Hawkinsville, GA; his father, Steve Hudson of Powersville, GA; his sister, Jamie Newman (Oliver) of Augusta, GA; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He graduated from South Cobb High School in 2006. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Emory University in 2010 and obtained his MD from the Medical College of Georgia in 2015. He completed his residency in Psychiatry in 2019 at Emory University.
Zachary was very gifted and excelled at many areas in his life. His parents and family are very proud of his accomplishments. A private memorial service was held on October 16, 2021, at Elko Baptist Church in Elko, GA.

To Zach's parents and his wife Lynn. I just found out about this news so I hope you receive this message. I was Zach's research mentor when he was a student at Oxford College, and he worked with me for two summers over at the Emory main campus. I wanted to say Zach was a good-spirited young man and one my most impressive students. It saddens my heart to hear that he is no longer with us. I send you my best wishes and condolences. I am sure he will be greatly missed by you, his coworkers, and his patients.
