Vogel, Dean
FENNIMORE - Dean R. Vogel, age 83, died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2022, at Grant Regional Health Center, Lancaster, Wis. He was born June 16, 1938, in Hollandale, Wis., the son of Rudy and Hazel (Howell) Vogel. He was united in marriage to Nancy Thiel on July 31, 1965, in Milwaukee, Wis.
Dean was a loving Pops and Grandpa and lived for his family. Remember everyone: "See You When I See You."
Dean is survived by his wife, Nancy of Fennimore; two children, Stacy (Jay) Laszewski of Jupiter, Fla., and Doug (Bridget) Vogel of Green Bay, Wis.; five grandchildren, Abby, Nate and Emma Laszewski and Faith and Paige Vogel; brother, Dale (Alice) Vogel of Fennimore, Wis.; sister, Judy Winkers of Onalaska, Wis.; brother-in-law, Gary (Sharon) Thiel of New Berlin, Wis.; sister-in-law, Shirley (Bill) Dodd of Pewaukee, Wis.; along with nieces and nephews.
Dean was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Jim Winkers.
Honoring Dean's wishes, there will be no memorial services held at this time. A private family gathering will be held in his honor at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in his name. Memorials may be sent to the Larson Family Funeral Home at 925 10th St., Fennimore, WI 53809. The Larson Family Funeral Home in Fennimore is assisting the family, and online condolences may be made at www.larsonfuneralhome.com.
