Sally loved to attend all of her kids' and grandkids' sporting events throughout the years and enjoyed following all Wisconsin sports. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald O'Malley; brothers, Jerome, Edwin, Thomas and Walter Ripp; sisters, Arlene Schmitz, Irene Rose and Doris Carey; and infant son, James O'Malley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at QUEEN OF APOSTLES PARISH, ST. DENNIS CHURCH, 505 Dempsey Road, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2025, with Father Michael Radowicz presiding. Burial will take place at St. John's Cemetery in Waunakee. Visitation will be held at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Thursday.

Thinking of you with prayers and sympathy. Sally was a special person as was so fondly expressed in Fr. Michael“s beautiful tribute to her at her funeral. May loving memories bring you peace, comfort and strength. And may Sally rest in peace. Warren and Nancy

My sympathy to all of Sally's family. She was a beautiful lady and I enjoyed our little prayers we said together. I will miss her but am so happy she is with Jesus in Heaven.
