Steven B. "Steve" "Red" Larson

November 14, 1950 - August 16, 2025

MIDDLETON - Steven B. "Steve" "Red" Larson, age 74, of Middleton, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Middleton Village Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was born on November 14, 1950, in Madison, Wis., to the late Bernie and Esther C. (Moore) Larson.

Steve attended St. James Grade School and graduated from Edgewood High School in 1969. He was previously employed by Whalen Transfer & Storage, Pitcher's Pub, Bill Kaminski and Walmart.

Steve is survived by his loving companion, Nancy; his aunt, Helen Johnson of Wheaton, Colo.; very special friends, Dennis and Barb Stapleton, Mike and Julie Duffy, Wally and Louise McCord; and many other friends. He is preceded in death by his brother, John.

A celebration of life will be held at PITCHER'S PUB, 323 W. Beltline Highway, Madison, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., with a time of sharing at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.

A very special thank you to Brandy, Mary Jo, Jonah, Carla and Antoinette from Agrace HospiceCare for the excellent care that they gave Steve.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dane County Humane Society, Agrace HospiceCare, UW Carbone Cancer Center or to a charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
