Fredrickson, William E.
GREEN BAY/WAUNAKEE - William E. Fredrickson, age 89, passed away peacefully on Oct. 31, 2021, at his home. He was born July 30, 1932, in Westby, Wis., son of Frithzof and Magda (Lokken) Fredrickson. He married Beverly Luginbuhl on June 16, 1962.
He was drafted into the U.S. Army for the Korean War. He was an electrician for Ben Kuehn for 12 years; he joined the IBEW Local 159; he was a building and electrical inspector until he retired in 1999. He was a member of the American Legion Post 360 for 60 years. He loved camping, hunting, and fishing. He was a Badgers and Packers fan.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly; children, Kristi (Dennis) Madigan, Heidi (Ron) Schwenn, and William F. Fredrickson; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, four sisters, and three brothers.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 6, at 11 a.m. at the WINN-CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 5785 Highway Q, Waunakee. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place in Vienna Cemetery.
