Willard Raymond Jones
June 20, 1937 - April 8, 2021
Willard Raymond Jones passed away April 8, 2021. Ray was born June 20, 1937 in Jerome, ID to Gordon and Callie (Hartley) Jones. He graduated from Burley High School in 1956 before enlisting in the Air Force where he served as a Tactical Missile Guidance Mechanic. After four years in the Air Force, Ray worked a myriad of jobs across the United States from owning a cotton farm in Arkansas to engineering missile systems in Colorado.
Ray fathered three sons, Michael, William and Andrew before retiring in Paul, Idaho. He enjoyed working with his hands, caring for animals, and travelling. He is survived by his three sons and sister, Mildred.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the Jerome Cemetery. Flowers may be sent to Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 South Lincoln Ave, Jerome, ID 83338.
