Obituary For Aaron Dwayne Norman
Aaron Dwayne Norman peacefully departed this world on September 1, 2024, in Milford, OH. He was born on October 17, 1983, in Youngstown, OH to the union of Angela (Charles Strozier III) and the late Arden Norman. Aaron was a cherished son, brother, nephew, and friend to many.
Aaron attended Woodrow Wilson High School and performed in the band. He was also a boot dancer for the Harambee youth group under the direction of the late Wiliam R. Miller.
Aaron lived a life filled with passion for events such as wrestling and actively engaged in the sport. He was known and respected by the moniker "Da Misfit" as a backyard wrestler. His undaunted love for the Dallas Cowboys football team will always be remembered by those who knew him best.
Aaron was employed at the Red Robin restaurant where his dedication and hard work was appreciated by his colleagues and customers. His enthusiasm and commitment to his work exemplified his character, bringing joy to all those around him.
Known for his warm smile and kind heart, Aaron will be cherished by his beloved parents Angela & Charles Strozier, his brothers Andre Norman and Dr. Benjamin Snipes, along with his special friend Lynn Gordon. He will also be lovingly remembered by his grandmother Mary Phifer-Curtis, aunts Barbara Strozier-Abron, Decheryl Curtis and Annette Edwards-Williams, and uncle Dwayne Curtis
As Arron crossed into eternity, he was embraced by his father Arden Norman, grandparents Huey Curtis, Bonnie Curtis, Vivian Strozier and Charles Strozier, Jr., great-grandmother Pearl Lee "Nana" Brown and dearest friend Teresa Dean, all who predeceased him.
In honor of Aaron's memory, let us come together to remember a life well-lived, a spirit that brightened our days, and a soul that will forever hold a place in our hearts. Though he may be gone, his laughter, kindness, and love will continue to live on within us all.
As we come together to celebrate Aaron's life, we invite friends and well-wishers to join the family on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 10:00 am. for public viewing in the chapel of the J. E. Washington Funeral Home, 2234 Glenwood Ave, Youngtown. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 am with Apostle Leroy Jenkins officiating.
The services will conclude with a committal service at Tod Homestead Cemetery, 2200 Belmont Ave, Youngstown, OH 44505, where Aaron will be laid to rest. His memory will forever remain in our hearts, guiding us with his light and love.
