Harry L. Reinhart, 76 of Canfield, died Wednesday morning at Windsor House at St. Mary’s Alzheimer’s Center, Columbiana. Harry was born May 24, 1948 in Youngstown, a son of the late Harry S. and June M. (Ritchey) Reinhart and was a lifelong area resident. He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1966 and was a proud veteran of the United States Army, Harry served as a Military Policeman in Okinawa during the Vietnam War. He worked as a foreman for RB Fabrications in Austintown for many years, retiring in 2014. Harry was very involved with the Canfield Boy Scouts Troop 25 for many years and had been a cub scout leader for Pack #25. He enjoyed playing Quiddler with Bev, watching the birds and wildlife . He served as treasurer for the Canfield youth wrestling and had volunteered for the Canfield Wrestling mat boosters. Harry was also active in the china painting club and had also taught china painting. Most importantly, Harry loved spending time with his grandchildren and looked forward to outdoor activities with them. He leaves his wife, the former Roberta “Birdie” Sullivan, whom he married June 24, 1972; two sons, Eric (Jamie) of Columbus, David (Mara) of Canfield; seven grandchildren, David, Jr., Devan, Benjamin, Nicholas, Anna, Mary, Elena and two great grandchildren, Karter and Anthony. Harry also leaves his sister, Diane (John) Bushling of Youngstown; several nieces, nephews, family and his beloved dog, Lena. Besides his parents, Harry was preceded in death by a son, Brian. The family would like to give a special thanks to Amanda S., Amanda W., Danielle and Renee of Specialized Senior Care, Sanctuary Hospice and Windsor House at St. Mary’s Alzheimers Center. Friends may call on Monday, July 15th at Lane Funeral Home, Canfield Chapel from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 am, followed by the funeral service at noon.
