Lori A. Droste

SOUTHINGTON – Lori A. Droste, age 64, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman. She was born June 6, 1960 in Cleveland, the daughter of Robert and Christine (Basta) Kirchner. A graduate of Wickliffe High School, Lori worked as a pharmacy tech for CVS. A strong lady with many interests and skills, she loved to crochet and made many blankets that she in turn would give away. She loved to take photos and spent hours putting scrapbooks together. She enjoyed gardening, especially her tomato plants, and collecting knick-knacks. It was easy to hit your head on something as you came to her front porch. She loved to shop, to spend time on the beach, whether at Mentor Headlands or on the Jersey shore, and was a very good pool player. Lori was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Warren and a passionate advocate for children with special needs and their families. Precious memories of Lori live on with her beloved husband of nearly forty years, William L. Droste, Jr., whom she married May 25, 1985; three children: Christine Cwiklinski (Joseph) of Browns Mills, N.J., William L. Droste III of Southington, and Alyssa Droste of Southington; four grandchildren: Jonathan, Joseph Jr., Cierra, and Carissa Cwiklinski; her sister, Denise Sonday (David) of Highland Heights; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents and three brothers: Tony, Michael, and James Kirchner.
