Louis Mirich Obituary

YOUNGSTOWN Louis N. Mirich 1945-2025 Louis N. Mirich passed away peacefully at Greenbriar Nursing Home on August 12, 2025. He was born on April 25, 1945 in Lowellville, Ohio to Peter and Mary (Brinsko) Mirich. Louis was a 1963 graduate of Struthers High School and was in the Navy. He was a self-employed roofer and a bartender at the Jambar. He was a member of Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church on Laird Avenue in Youngstown. Louis leaves to cherish his memory 2 daughters, Danielle (Thomas) Szczerba and Michelle (Steve) Mirich both of Youngstown, 4 sisters, Myra Mirich, Elaine Omslaer, Kathrine Mirich all of Youngstown and Delores Pavlic of Florida. He also leaves 4 grandchildren whom he adored. Louis was proceeded in death by his parents and 5 brothers, Mike, Peter, George, Steve and John Mirich and 3 sisters, Helen Morgan, Margie Obenauf and Mary Ann Berick. Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025 at Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home from 4:00pm-7:00pm. On Tuesday, August 19, 2025 there will be a calling hour from 10:00am-11:00am and then a funeral Mass to follow at 11:00am at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church on Laird Avenue in Youngstown.
