Samantha Jane JETHROW

Samantha Jane Edmonds Jethrow, 59, of 126 Roosevelt Street, N.W., Warren, OH departed this life Monday, August 18, 2025 at 10:56 p.m. at St. Joseph Eastland Medical Center, following complications from an extended illness. She was born January 7, 1966 in Warren, OH, the daughter of Samson William and Katie Bell Powell Edmonds. Samantha was employed with Washington Square Nursing Home for 25 years as a Healthcare Provider, before retiring in 2019. She was a 1984 graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School and a graduate of ETI Technical College, receiving a degree in Administration. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church, where she was a former Choir Member and enjoyed reading, playing games and crossword puzzles. She leaves to mourn one sister, Ms. Annetha Edmonds (Westley) Bagsby of Spring Lake, NC; special friend, Mrs. Ursula (Walter) Toles of Warren; two Goddaughters, Mrs. Andrea (James) Leftwich of Zebulon, NC and Ms. Ami Murray of Cleveland; two nieces, Ms. Katie Bagsby and Miss Ava'Marie Lebron of Spring Lake, NC and one great-niece, Miss Jhi'la Murrell of Spring Lake, NC and a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Jethrow; parents; three brothers, Jeff Edmonds, Willie Dan Clark and Anthony Edmonds and one niece, Ms. Ki'ara Edmonds Murrell. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Chapel, with Calling Hours from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Arrangements of comfort were handled by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home.
