Ted Murray

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Donald T. "Ted" Murray Jr of Niles.Ted passed away from a heart attack on Friday March 7, 2025 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He was 67 years old. Ted was born August 31, 1957 in Warren the son of Donald T Sr. and Mary Brown Murray. He grew up in Niles and Howland graduating from Howland High School in 1975. He spent 38 years as a crane operator at Clark Dietrich Industries retiring in 2022. Ted enjoyed sports, especially football and NASCAR. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan for many decades. He loved travel, rock and country music attending many concerts throughout his life. Ted was a kind, funny, generous and loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife Susan Sudano Murray whom he married October 22, 1982. He also shared a loving bond with their son Eric of Moon Township, Pennsylvania. Ted and Eric were also great friends and enjoyed watching sporting events together especially football. Ted is also survived by his mother Mary Brown Murray of McDonald, a sister Brenda Boucher of Howland, a brother Rick Murray and his wife Lisa of Raleigh, North Carolina, mother-in-law Barbara Sudano of Niles, as well as many in-laws, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald T. Murray Sr., younger brother David Murray, and his father-in-law Michael Sudano Sr. Friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 7PM and 11AM to Noon Thursday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
