~My Sweet Janine~

I don't even know where to begin..
Although it's been many years since we have seen one another.. both you and Skylar have always been in my thoughts and in my heart ~ after all... you were my very "BEST FRIEND" for so many years.. and those were some of the best times in my life! WE WERE QUITE A TEAM TOGETHER! ~ salt and pepper ~ * * * * I will miss you terribly! * * * *

I remember (as though it was yesterday) when I threw you your baby shower! You were so happy awaiting the arrival of your little baby girl.. in fact WE ALL WERE! You were one of the very first ones.. having a baby in our clan of "GIRLFRIENDS"! I still can picture you holding Skylar in your arms and how deeply you adored that little girl! SHE TRULY WAS THE JOY OF YOUR LIFE... AND IT SHOWED! We both wanted to have children so very much!

I just wish you had met my two little angels.. (my son Max~7 and my little daughter Jessie ~4).... THEY BOTH WOULD HAVE LOVED YOU!!!
I'll never forget the day we were looking through my old photo albums. Max must have felt the emptiness feelings I was displaying. He had asked me "who you and the cute little baby were"? I had explained who you both were and how important you were to me! Those photos always bring back my fondest memories of you.. and I will always cherish them.

I have so much that I want to say.. and I could probably go on for days! The one thing that I DON'T WANT TO SAY IS "GOOD-BYE"! Today is your half birthday (not a year has gone by that I didn't think of you on that day). Janine, I have always loved you my friend.. and always will.

"YOU WILL BE MISSED.. BY US ALL"

~ Perry ~
My heart goes out to you and the entire family. Although I never had the privilege to have met you.. Janine had such high regard for you and was ALWAYS so proud that you were her mother.

~ Skylar ~
The last time I saw that sweet face of yours, was at your birthday party you were only two and Big Bird was the guest of honor. I'm sure you have grown up to become a beautiful young lady, if you LQQK anything like your mom (not that your father was too shabby either)! I really would love to see you, catch up, show you all my photos of your mom.. and I also have so many great stories I want to share with you about her. When you feel the time is right for you, I would love to hear from you, please!

I know this is probably one of the most (if not, THE MOST) difficult times in your life and I am so very sorry for your loss. I can only imagine how you are feeling right now! Weather it's sad, mad, frustrated, angry, completely lost, or many other different emotions.. JUST REMEMBER, THAT IT'S ALL OKAY (believe me, we are all feeling the same way)!!! IT DOES GET EASIER!

I know you don't remember who I am but If you ever want to just talk or have any questions you'd like to ask me about your mom, I will be here! You can call me at anytime.... My phone# is (818) 880-4665

All my love..
Jennifer

I met Janine in first grade and we were best friends throughout elementary school. Sadly, we lost touch over the years, but I have such wonderful memories of growing up together...Perri piercing our ears with a needle and a potato, learning to shave our legs on the floor of her family room, discovering Top Ramen on peanut butter toast, wishing I had her hair! Janine was filled with that bright light that draws people in makes you want to be around them, as I've grown older, I can appreciate how rare that is. My condolences to Perri, Bobby and the rest of her family. Janine, you will be missed greatly - Rest in Peace.
