David Wyman Obituary
1957 - 2015
MOSCOW - David Elwin Wyman, Sr., 58, passed away on July 27, 2015. He was born in Skowhegan on May 26, 1957, the son of Harley and Betty (McLaughlin) Wyman.
David served our county in the United States Army before coming home and working for many years in the woods. He also worked locally as a mechanic and auto body tech. He was a true Mainer, born and raised, with a deep love for family and friends. David also enjoyed restoring old vehicles, hunting, fishing, and burning rubber. He was known for his green thumb and for being a prankster and an automotive "MacGyver."
David was predeceased by his father; and brother Calvin. He will be missed by his wife Joan Wyman; mother, Betty; son, David, Jr. and wife Vicki, son, Robert and wife Sharon, daughter, Melissa; grandchildren, Vanessa, Mason, Bobby II, Steven, Megan, Zachary, Arian, Brooke, Austin, Jamie, and Brittany; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Brenda, Una, Alice, Beverly, Rocky, and Kenneth "Skeets."
Family and friends are invited to visit from 5-7 p.m., Friday, July 31, at Giberson Funeral Home, 18 River St., Bingham. Interment will be private. Arrangements are under the guidance of Giberson Funeral Home.

It is with a very heavy heart that we lay to rest a great man. He will be missed dearly by those who were fortunate enough to know him. I for one am proud to call him my gramps. Always have been, and always will. We love you gramps. You've served your time here faithfully. We'll see you again when it's time. But for now, its time for you to rest easy.

He was a grandfather. He was very special to me and I miss him a great deal and a chunk of me is missing knowing he won't be there for me at my biggest parts in my life when I pictured him there every time. And knowing I won't be able to just walk up the road and see him. I spent 3 to 4 nights with him on his last week and I talked to him while holding his hand and told him how much I loved him and how much a appreciated him being in my life and being ana amazing person to me and tell me so much and how much I've learned from him and I held his hand til the end and now I know he left with no pain and he's happier now and I miss and love you grandpa <3

David sr will be greatly missed. He was never not willing to help when you needed it,was always welcoming and very close to family and friends. You will leave some pretty big burnout marks on this world.
