We were friends for a long time. On one of our earlier times together we took two of the top prizes at a Martin Pond fishing derby. Ronnie got the largest fish, a Rainbow over three pounds, and I got the largest Brook Trout at about two and a half pounds. We were doing our traveling in those days on stingray bikes and we had a good ride to Webb's to see what we had won. It was a good day! Sorry, I had to throw a story in. There were many! To me Ronnie was and will remain as much a part of the West Forks as Durgin Hill is. Our condolences to the Berry Family and friends.

I have so many fond memories of Ronnie, he was a kind gentle soul. I remember you showing me the old bottle dumps in Hangtown. Rest in Peace my friend I will see you on the over the side of the river!
Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night

West Forks will never be the same. I will think of you every time I visit the store or drive past your house. Your presence defined that neck of the woods for me and there are way too many fond memories with Ronnie Berry by my side to begin listing them. You make me laugh with your ever present happy disposition and unconditional acceptance of everyone you meet. I love you dearly and will miss you! XOXO

Well Ron, yet another long time friend to say goodbye to. when we moved to Durgin Hill from P.A. , it was always the Berry's and the Heberts. Through the years you lived with Lloyd and I, and when you didn't, you were always there. Many memories there are. Will miss yet another member whom was considered Family. My Condolences go out to your daughter and grandchildren, whom you thought the World of, Francine, your Mother, and to all the rest of your Family...R.I.P. Dear Friend, and Godspeed.
