MANCHESTER - Walter
Thomas Whitlock, 67, of Manchester passed away after a long illness on Monday, July 9, 2018, at his camp on Three-Mile Pond in Vassalboro.
He was born in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Canada on May 23, 1951, the son of William
Thomas Whitlock and Donna Dell Hartford Whitlock. Tom graduated from Cony High School in 1969 and attended the University of Connecticut. After working several years for the Maine Veterans Home, he retired due to illness.
He was predeceased by his parents; and is survived by his family: Carolyn Van Horn of Manchester, their daughter, Dr. Joanna

Just heard today about Tom's passing. I remember Tom, mainly, from when we were kids...playing football in our friend's back yard and being in school together, etc. He and his family will be in my prayers.

So sorry. I remember Tom as a great friend of Bill's. One of the gang. He was always very kind to me and I enjoyed getting to know his mom and sister back in the day. Wonderful family. I know the pain you are going through. Let your family and friends help you as much as they can. Hold onto all their love.

Tommy, Whitty, Walt, Wally or Grampy Whit- many names for a man who meant many things to those who knew him. I'll miss our chats about sports, growing up in Mayfair and of course JoJo & Jake stories with that sarcastic smirk! Thank you for the time you spent walking and reading to Nolan his whole first year! Enjoy the view pain-free, we'll talk of you often & remember you always!
