Trueworthy, 43
WINDHAM -- Daniel L. Trueworthy, 43, of Windham and formerly of Porter died on June 6, 2014 from a tragic accident.
He was born in Portland, on Oct. 5, 1970, the son of Kendrick Trueworthy and Vanessa (Sawyer) Trueworthy. He attended S.A.D. # 55 schools and graduated from Sacopee Valley High School in 1989.
After graduation, Danny moved to San Jose, Calif. and worked in the auto parts industry for ten years. In 1999, Danny moved back to Maine and continued to work in the auto parts industry. Most recently he worked as a fuel delivery driver for Pit Stop Fuels in Standish, a job he loved!
Music was a huge part of Danny's life and he was a drummer for the band 'Bridge Street'. He also loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, dirt biking and motorcycles. Above all, he loved his family and many friends as well as his cat, 'D.C.'.
He is survived by his daughter, Devin Foster of Windham. His mother, Vanessa Trueworthy of Windham. His father, Kendrick Trueworthy and wife Sandra of Porter. His grandmother, Ellen Woodsome of Portland. A brother, Darin Trueworthy and companion Laurie Carr of Cornish. A sister, Amy Davis and companion Tim Soule of Bowdoin. Seven stepbrothers and stepsisters, Jimmy, Linda, Patty, Debbie, David, Peter and Karen. Also many loving aunts, uncles; nieces, nephews; cousins and many dear friends.
Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, June 11, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Watson, Neal & York Funeral Home, 71 Maple St., Cornish. A graveside service will be on Saturday, June 14, at 1 p.m. at the Stanley Cemetery on Rt. 160 in South Hiram. Online condolences may be expressed at: www.wnyfuneralhome.com.

Danny, we had so many good times together. I always think of you and how very sweet you were even when you were playing it cool. What started out as just a friendship became so much more. All the time we spent together I will never forget. My favorite times were when you spent summer nights staying overnight in the camper. We would watch SNL and then watch the stars. I still can't to this day watch SNL without thinking of you. No matter how many years go by I still miss you and can see your smiling face. To the memories you and I shared. I loved you then, I love you now and I will love you always. Until we meet again Danny, I will carry you with me in my heart. R.I.P

I am still left for the right words Danny. Over the years you were always there to lift me up when my world was crashing around me. Thank you for that. I thank you Danny for coming in to my life. Having you as a friend has been one of my greatest joys in my life. The memories we've shared and the smiles/hugs we've exchanged have been some of the best. He broke the mold when he made you. Never have I ever been so grateful for a surprise visit. Thank you Danny for making my last visit to Maine so special. You are a one in a million.
