Donna DeWitt Obituary

Donna DeWitt, 46 GRAY - Donna DeWitt, 46, of Gray, formerly of Barton, Vt., daughter of the late Raymond and Jeanette Sawyer, journeyed to the 100 acre woods on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008, to be with her friend Eeyore who said, 'When someone says how do you do?' say, 'I didn't.' She leaves behind her best friend and husband, Peter DeWitt; her son Jemiah Brow; her cat Stella; the following siblings: Anne and Butch Thompson; Larry Sawyer and his friend Anne Creaser; Alan and Tina Sawyer; and Carol Sawyer and Gary Matthews; sisters-in-law Sarah DeWitt and Janet DeWitt; nephews Raymond Thompson, Jeff and Maya Thompson, Robert Sawyer, Roger Sawyer, Colin Matthews, Theron Matthews, and her nieces Jeanette Sawyer and Kate and Emily DeWitt; and special friends Debbie Valley, Leighann Fleury, Bob and Gail Kluge and Claire Bailey. A celebration of her life will be held at the Converse Rushford Funeral Home in Barton, Vt., on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 1-3 p.m. Should one desire, donations may be made in Donna's name to: The New England Chapter of the Scleroderma Foundation 462 Boston St. Suite 1-1 Topsfield, Massachusetts 01983-1239 Donna DeWitt
