Lorraine Corbin Ruminski
WESTBROOK -- Born in Portland on Dec. 10, 1928, Lorraine Corbin Ruminski passed peacefully at her home in Westbrook on Nov. 23, 2013.
She was married to Frederick C. Ruminski and they raised five children together.
She is survived by her son John of Westbrook, daughter Sharon Ankiewicz and her husband John of Tucson, Ariz., daughter Jeanie and husband Dickie Pramis, daughter Sandra Regios and husband Tony and son Fred, all from Maine. She had four grandchildren, Joshua, Jennesa, Jordan, and Sara. She was predeceased by her brothers, Francis and Peter and sisters, Pearl, Kay, Marie and Gerri. She is survived by her sister Elna and her brother Ernie.
She lived a full life, enjoying Bingo, family, and friends. She was a sassy but classy lady!
Per her request, funeral arrangements will be private. A celebration of her life will be held on Dec. 1 at the American Legion Hall on 17 Dunn St., Westbrook, from 12:30-5 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers, a
donation to the Animal Refuge League is appreciated.
