Larry Ratliff Obituary

Larry D. Ratliff, age 79, of Bismarck, AR, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025 in his home. He was born on October 28, 1945 in Hot Springs, AR, the son of Marion and Woodie Taylor Ratliff. He worked for Arkansas Game and Fish for many years, and was a member of the U.S. Air Force. Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a ham radio operator, handle W5TZC.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Woodie and Owen Gates.
Left to cherish his memory, wife of 54 years, Carolyn Davis Ratliff; son, Andrew Ratliff of Fayetteville, AR; brother, Taylor Gates (Annette) of Bismarck; sister, Barbara Breashears of Hot Springs; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on January 29th from 10:30 – 11am at Prairie Bayou Cemetery, with the graveside service starting at 11am, with Bro. Jarred Cansler and Bro. Daniel Cansler officiating.
Pallbearers are Phillip Taylor, Mark Cansler, Russell Hynds, Ralph Davis, Tommy Davis, Taylor Gates, and Lance Davis.
Special thanks to Elite Hospice, and Antioch Missionary Baptist Church for their prayers and food that has been provided.
Memorials may be made to the Prairie Bayou Cemetery Fund.
